About 29,180 households live in Delray Beach. About a third of the homes are detached houses and about two thirds of the occupied homes are lived in by their owners. Half the homes were built before 1983. With most homes attached or in apartment buildings, many trees here stand on shared, association or public land, and whoever owns that land arranges the work.
